Sunday night, June 25th, I had the pleasure of being the Islamorada wedding DJ and MC for Christian & Erin at the amazing Oasis Estate. During setup the winds must have been kicking up near 20 miles an hour, but as ceremony time approached, it's like someone turned off the switch and it was absolutely gorgeous for the entire rest of the evening.
Christian & Erin saw something fun on Tiktok and wanted to do it at their wedding after dinner. I was a little leery because it involved guest participation and sometimes that can go either way. Michael (the photographer) and myself were determined to make it work, so I thoroughly pumped up the guests, gave instructions, and named it the 15 second photo challenge. The idea was to run up to the sweetheart table, strike a pose with the bride and groom and run off and you had 15 seconds to do it. I gave everyone 15 minutes to think about what they wanted to do, lined them up, and hit the music. This video clip is just a short peek at the fun.
This was truly a fun crowd that knew how to have a good time.
